Associate Director

Based in Sisters, Oregon, Seed to Table seeks a collaborative, detail-oriented, and hands-on Associate Director to advance our work building community through fresh produce. Seed to Table strives to model a sustainable food system from our 4-acre farm plot while providing equitable access to fresh foods and opportunities for community members to engage with farm-fresh foods. This is a full time, in-person position that is integral to our organizational leadership, offering significant autonomy while fostering close collaboration across all programs and staff. With an annual budget of approximately $950k and a staff of 10, we currently operate three programs: K-12 Farm-Based Education, the Sisters Farmers Market, and the Feeding Families food distribution program. This Associate Director position is designed to support Seed to Table’s operations and program growth by assuming key responsibilities that currently fall under the Executive Director.
Our ideal Associate Director candidate will: lead with care for our internal and external community; take on ownership of day to day operations and communications, ensuring these are handled efficiently and with care; have experience supporting a staff team, managing finances, organizing internal systems and overseeing contractors; demonstrate exceptional skill in fostering strong, collaborative working relationships; act as a thought partner and collaborator with the executive director and other program directors, managers and contractors; manage our annual fundraising plan and participate in fundraising; and shepherd Seed to Table’s annual and strategic planning - including plan implementation.

Farm Educator (part time)

Seed to Table Farm is Hiring Part-Time Farm Educators!
Do you love engaging youth in outdoor, experiential education? Seed to Table Farm Educators work in a dynamic environment to engage K-12 grade students in farm-based education. Educators work as a team to facilitate farm field trips, and though lesson plans are provided, successful field trips require the energy and enthusiasm of the Farm Educator team.
Duties
Lead small groups (10-12 students) on farm exploration and lessons for 1.5 hours
Coordinate with Program Director to schedule availability
Manage group to safely participate in farm activities
Facilitate an environment that celebrates the diversity of cultures and students’ relationship to fresh food

Seed to Table Farm is Hiring a Veggie Farm Team Member!
Come join the Seed to Table Farm Team, growing a bounty of veggies on our four-acre farm sitting beneath the Three Sisters Mountains in Central Oregon! The work is hard, the laughs are many, the focus on efficiency is a must, the problem-solving is ongoing, the eating is delicious and the community is excited. Our operation is dynamic with growing veggies, engaging kiddos, working alongside volunteers, and trying to be the best land stewards and veggie growers we can in Central Oregon. It is certainly a journey!
